Payment Policy
Last updated: October 13, 2026
This policy explains the current SabKi Sawari payment model. It does not announce a payment provider as live unless that provider is configured and available in the app.
1. Currency and trip fares
All amounts are shown in Pakistani Rupees (PKR). In the current launch model, passengers pay the displayed trip fare directly to the driver in cash. A fare shown for one trip does not guarantee the same fare for another trip.
2. Security Hold
A booking may require a Security Hold from the passenger's in-app wallet. The hold is 50% of the applicable booking fare. A hold reserves wallet balance; it is not the cash trip fare. See the Booking Security Hold Policy for full details on when it is released or deducted.
3. Wallets
Passenger wallets support Security Holds and releases. Driver and Owner commission wallets support commission accounting. Wallet entries record credits, holds, releases, fees, penalties, adjustments and other supported events.
4. Wallet top-ups
When a configured payment option is available, the app displays it during top-up. If an online gateway is unavailable, a top-up may be submitted for manual review. Never send money using details received outside the official app or verified support channel.
5. Pending, failed and duplicate transactions
A pending top-up is not usable balance until confirmed. Failed transactions are not treated as successful. If you see a possible duplicate debit, do not retry repeatedly; contact support with the date, amount and transaction reference. SabKi Sawari verifies provider status before crediting gateway-funded balance.
6. Cancellations and wallet releases
Cancellation charges and Security Hold releases follow the Return & Refund Policy. Eligibility is determined by SabKi Sawari's booking rules. Any separate bank or payment-provider reversal can take additional time controlled by that provider.
7. Refunds and reversals
SabKi Sawari first determines whether an amount is eligible for release, correction or reversal. Provider processing time begins only after an approved reversal is submitted. No universal provider processing time is promised on this website.
8. Unauthorized or disputed activity
Report suspected unauthorized activity promptly to info@sabkisawari.com, or see our Complaint & Dispute Resolution page. Include only transaction references and relevant facts. Never email passwords, OTPs, full card numbers, CVVs or wallet PINs.
9. Payment providers
SabKi Sawari's wallet top-up option is intended to be processed by PayFast. Payment providers process transactions under their own terms and regulatory obligations. Display of a payment option inside the app indicates current availability for that transaction; this website does not imply endorsement or merchant activation by PayFast until that integration is live.
10. PayFast intended use case
PayFast is intended to be used strictly as an online payment gateway for funding, or "topping up," a passenger's SabKi Sawari in-app wallet balance. To make the full payment flow unambiguous:
- Wallet top-up through PayFast: a passenger may add funds to their SabKi Sawari wallet using PayFast. This is the only transaction PayFast is intended to process.
- Passenger Security Hold: once a booking is made, SabKi Sawari may reserve a Security Hold of 50% of the applicable booking fare from that wallet balance. The hold is not a payment to PayFast, a driver, or SabKi Sawari - it is a reservation of the passenger's own wallet funds, handled under the Booking Security Hold Policy and the Return & Refund Policy.
- Cash trip fare: the main transportation/trip fare is currently paid directly by the passenger to the driver or vehicle operator in cash. PayFast is not currently used to collect the trip fare on behalf of drivers.
- Platform commission and penalties: where applicable, commission and cancellation/no-show penalties are settled through Driver and Owner platform wallets under the Owner Commission & Driver Penalty Policy, separately from any passenger wallet top-up or Security Hold.
